Teresa Burroff joined the Seton Healthcare Family in 2007 as general counsel. She provides legal advice and oversight of the legal team associated with the representation of Seton’s 11 acute care hospitals and other facilities in Central Texas.

Ray Anderson joined Seton Healthcare Family in August 2014 as senior vice president and chief strategy officer. He is responsible for Seton’s strategic planning and business development functions and accelerating the organization’s strategic goal of creating a comprehensive, clinically integrated system for delivering person-centered care to more than one million Central Texans.
Vice President, Human Resources, Seton Healthcae Family and Ascension’s Texas Ministry
Joe Canales joined Seton in December 2012 as interim vice president for Human Resources and permanently filled the position soon thereafter. He assumed his Texas ministry role in 2015. He is working on refining a new service model for the Human Resource function and has introduced a number of leader development initiatives, most notably Evidence Based Leadership.
Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Seton Clinical Enterprise
Clay Carsner is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Seton Clinical Enterprise, which currently manages more than 700 physician practices throughout Seton Healthcare Family. In this role, he is responsible for financial management of the enterprise, along with business development and strategy.

Jeff Cook oversees managed care agreements on behalf of Seton Healthcare Family and the Seton Physician Enterprise, develops and manages hospital pricing strategies, and is responsible for all aspects of development and operations for Seton Health Alliance.
Mike Dollen joined Seton in 2011 with more than 25 years of experience in consumer marketing and communications. He is responsible for Ascension’s Texas Ministry Communications and Marketing, which includes media relations, internal communications, brand marketing and digital strategy for Seton Healthcare Family in Austin and Providence Healthcare Network in Waco.

Dr. Tate Erlinger rejoined Seton in February 2010 as Vice President of Clinical Effectiveness and Care Redesign within the Center for Experience and Effectiveness. He serves as the Medical Director for Seton Health Alliance.

Greg Hartman is responsible for communications, marketing and government affairs for the Seton network, as well as Seton’s growing enterprise in academic medicine and research. He has also served as the President and CEO for Seton’s Central Group, which included Seton Medical Center Austin, the University Medical Center Brackenridge and the Clinical Education Center at Brackenridge.

As chief operations officer, Tim LaFrey oversees the Hospital, Clinical Enterprise and Insurance Services divisions for Seton Healthcare Family. Before assuming this role in July 2013, he was senior vice president of Seton Ventures and Alliances for two years. His responsibilities included evaluation and development of joint venture opportunities and strategic alliances and oversight of physician management services operations. Tim also chairs the Seton Insurance Services Board and the Seton Health Plan Board.

Dr. Prathibha Varkey is President and CEO of Seton Clinical Enterprise, which is made up of non-profit health care organizations and physician practices affiliated with Seton Healthcare Family, including more than 1,600 employed providers and staff. Among them are 420 physicians and 246 medical residents offering more than 40 medical specialties to patients at more than 90 locations.
